Materials to bring

  • Course Manual
  • Standard yoga props.

Course Completion Requirements:

  • Watching all Sessions
  • Completing the Quiz
  • Project Completion:
  • Use the Vinyasa Krama Personal Project Template to design and practice a short therapeutic sequence that reflects your current needs, goals, and understanding of Vinyasa Krama principles.
This project is intended to help you move from learning about Vinyasa Krama to applying it through direct personal experience. Rather than creating a full class, you will create a simple protocol that is individualized, purposeful, and responsive to your current state.
Complete all sections of the template, including:
    Assessment & Intention
    • Identify your current physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual experience.
    • Explore which vayus are most involved.
    • Clarify your therapeutic goal.
    • Identify the kosha(s) most related to your area of focus.
    • Determine whether your sequence will be primarily Brahmana (solar) or Langhana (lunar).
    Vinyasa Krama Planning
Reflect on how you will apply:
    • Sukha & Sthira (ease and steadiness)
    • Kala (timing and pacing)
    • Marga (direction of transformation)
    • Pratikriyasana (counterpose)
    • Bhavana (intention)
Complete the Kosha Mapping section to explore how your current experience is showing up across each layer of being and how you anticipate practice may influence those experiences.
    Sequence Design
    Create a sequence that includes:
    • Arrival and Centering Practice
    • 2–3 Asana Kramas
    • At least one Vinyasa Type (Pulsation, Dynamic Movement, Sahaj, Rhythmic Vinyasa, Mudra Vinyasa, etc.)
    • Peak Pose or Primary Therapeutic Focus
    • Pratikriyasana (Counterpose)
    • Rest, Meditation, or Integration Practice
For each practice element, explain why you selected it and how it supports your intention.
    Practice & Observation
Practice your sequence for 10 days and complete the observation log after each session, noting:
    • When and where you practiced
    • What you noticed before practice
    • Any adaptations or modifications made
    • What you noticed after practice
    Reflection
Complete the final reflection section, discussing:
    • What you learned about yourself through the process
    • What you learned about Vinyasa Krama and therapeutic sequencing
    • What changed (or did not change) across the koshas
    • Any insights about adaptation, self-observation, or personal practice design
